What bank (for savings) in the UK has a really high interest rate? Even if its just for 12 months, coz then ill switch it to another for another 12. xx

I use ING direct, not sure if it is American and Canadian, but I know it is Canadian for sure and it has good interest for any amount of money and any amount of time.|||norther rock, is paying good interest, and should be safe as us lot the tax payers is baling it out and so you should buy shares at 1 pound a piece and they are likely to be bought back by this SUCKER government for up to four times that value.

ICICI bank is good but indian and you have to wear a turban if you go into a high st bank but are safe online to bank.|||Nottingham building society have a savings bond at 6.8%.

Most bonds you have to leave in for a year or more.
